Ce projet a été mis en place dans différents départements de France pour apaiser les bébés prématurés, fragiles ou malades dans leur couveuse.
Il s’agit de crocheter ou de tricoter des petites pieuvres dont les tentacules, attrapés par les bébés, leur permettent de les rassurer et évitent qu’ils tirent sur les sondes autour d’eux.
Les pieuvres doivent respecter des règles de sécurité strictes afin de pouvoir être envoyées dans les différents hôpitaux adhérents au projet.
